I don't do raw fish. I've tried! I just don't like it. So sushi is out for me, but I like lots of other kinds of Japanese food :D

Canned tuna is cooked. There was some lawsuit where a worker died in the plant when his coworkers accidentally cooked him in a vat of tuna.... Now I've ruined tuna for everyone!

The thing about sushi is, aside from the fish, raw or cooked, I don't like most of the other elements either. No thanks to fish roe. I don't like avacados and I hate cucumbers and nori is just no. That leaves, what? The rice? So yeah, too much of sushi is a no Cookie zone. I've tried lots of different kinds, but my friends stopped offering me their expensive fish after some embarrassing spitting incidents. >_>

I don't consider myself too terribly picky, but it sure sounds that way doesn't it? I promise, I'm a fairly adventurous eater. I love going to new restaurants. And at least I've actually tried sushi multiple times before deciding that it wasn't for me instead of just going "Ew! Raw fish!" and never touching it ever.
